Hi. I’m Compton. You don’t know me, which is exactly how Sno wants it.

Sno has decided she is done updating this blog. Her words, and I quote: “I have given the people enough.” She said it while eating cereal over the sink, which is where all of her most dramatic declarations happen.

To be clear, nothing is wrong. The blog is fine. She is fine. She has simply decided she is above it now. She used the phrase “my era of service is complete,” and then asked me to water her plants, which tells you everything about where I rank.

So here I am. I offered to keep the lights on because somebody has to, and because Em looked at me with those eyes, and because Sno threatened to replace me with a Magic 8 Ball if I let the archive die.

What to expect: the same chaos, minus Sno’s direct supervision, which she has described as “a gift to us all, honestly.” She will absolutely still be reading every word and complaining about it. That is the arrangement. She critiques, I type.

She left one instruction for this post. It was: “Tell them I’m not dead, I’m discerning.”

Sno is not dead. She is discerning. See you next week.
