Sno’ Witty™ began as Emily’s way of giving absurdity a microphone.
She is an adult fairytale correspondent with brunette curls, Midwest instincts, a suspicious relationship with government paperwork, and no patience for beige. She is expressive, observant, and one sentence away from turning a preventable inconvenience into a public hearing.
The writer behind the newsroom
Emily has always been a writer. Before Sno’ had a newsroom, Emily had notebooks, researched articles, photographs, drawings, graphic designs, captions, half-finished concepts, and enough lived material to keep an archive department nervous. Sno’ Witty™ is where those instincts meet: storytelling, visual comedy, character work, cultural observation, and the Midwest talent of making a weather report sound personally targeted.
The stories live in and around Rubicon, where household logistics become civic events, dogs issue statements through counsel, squirrels may require profiling, and normal errands develop congressional oversight.
Satire, with boundaries
This site is satire and creative-nonfiction-inflected comedy. Stories may begin with a real emotion, event, photograph, conversation, headline, or piece of household lore, then become exaggerated, rearranged, fictionalized, or handed to Sno’ for questioning. The site is not a news outlet, legal service, medical source, or transcript of private life.
Sno’ Witty™ is the comeback no one requested and the newsroom reality apparently required.
